turning on hardware virtualization for the studio xps 435t

I am getting ready to load Windows7 and need to know if the hardware virtualization is defaulted to on for this processor. From what i have read, this is required to run the new xp virtualization under windows 7. Have already checked the Bios and did not see any settings available for activation of this feature. Do you find this valuable?
