Dell is actively working on certifying PowerEdge servers with Solaris so you can expect more models to follow soon.

Solaris runs well on Dell PowerEdge Servers. Currently, Dell PowerEdge servers are split into 2 groups :

PowerEdge servers certified by Sun on behalf of Dell for running Solaris 10. These servers are fully supported by Dell and listed on HCL for Solaris OS under 'OEM and System Vendor Products'.
